Lots o’ Little Ones

Now that summer is over and folks are back into the school-year routine, many of our families are back. This means lots of little ones going up front for Mrs. Kilby’s story time. This time, the balancing dragonfly prop was the huge hit. Between the Roe kids, the Martin kids and our wee girls (Isabel, Grace and Riley) and our “big girls” (Natalie and Abi), there was quite a row of little faces.  It was great to see.  We had a couple of vocal babies in the back too, who didn’t want to be overlooked (Westin and Alexandra).

Labor Day Weekend

Many of our members and regular visitors were out of town this weekend, taking advantage of the last hurrah of summer. The weather was beautiful in New Hampshire for those who stayed. This was the final call for the memory verse of the last several months. Pastor called for one volunteer to recite from memory, Romans 5:1-21.  Susan was eager to try. She made it all the way through with only a couple of prompts. There was no afternoon service.

Flushed with success

Sorry for the pun. Our new bathrooms are functional! They’re not done quite yet. The hot water still needs to be fixed and inspected. But, the partitions are up and the toilets flush.  We’ve talked about newer-bigger bathrooms for years, but this week they became reality.

Hats off to Ben for all his diligent hard work and his helper Josh. A big shout of thanks to the Meteviers for their generous gift that got our Bathroom Fund off to a great start.
