LBC Events

The ladies boxed up all the donated gift items (snack foods, pencils/paper, etc.) and had the boxes ready to ship overseas to the soldiers we know. Before they went out, Pastor Jon called folks up to pray over the gift boxes and for our soldiers in particular.

It was great to have the Scarpa’s, Brandts and Rebecca back with us for worship. Others were away traveling, but there were plenty of voices on hand to sing praises.

Costume Dinner — Friday, March 26th, 6:30 pm @ LBC. Theme: Creation Hike. Come as an animal (or a tree?)  Fun for all. All invited.

C.L.O.T. — Saturday, March 27th 8:00 am @ LBC, all men invited. Light breakfast and fellowship.

Members, friends and family of LBC gathered up a nice pile of gifts to send to our soldiers overseas. We were given a list of things that soldiers like to receive (and were okay to ship to them). By Sunday morning, there was more than the box would hold.  The ladies’ group will be creating the individual boxes to ship to the various soldiers associated with the church.

We had a nice service today, with great participation and discussion.
