Growing up in Michigan under the ministry of his grandfather, Jonathan felt the call of God into the ministry and surrendered his life at an early age. He attended Boston Baptist College in MA and graduated with a Bachelor in ministry and a minor in missions. God then moved him and his wife Kathy to minister in Michigan in two different churches for just less than ten years doing youth and music. In Michigan they were blessed with four children; Devin, Makenna, Graicen and Westin.

They always had a burden for New England and they prayed to return but God kept saying, "No." However, that changed in the winter of 2007 and God began to open the doors to come back. This spring, Pastor Roe and his family came out to candidate and God continued to direct. LBC then voted to call Jonathan as their pastor. Jonathan and his family packed up their belongings in MI and left their home arriving in New Hampshire in late June 2008. They are very excited to see what God is going to accomplish at Londonderry Baptist Church.
